Financial Planning Association (FPA)

The Financial Planning Association, FPA, was founded in 2000 with the merger of the IAFP and ICFP.  FPA has been the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional’s partner in planning by helping them realize their vision of success with practice support, learning, advocacy, and networking.

Brain A. Eagle will take a deep dive into hot topics in estate planning in 2022 including: adjustments to the RMD Tables, the new Indiana Health Advanced Directives Act, creating large income tax charitable deduction in high taxable income years, and employee-owned companies.  This presentation introduces strategies to address a client’s desire to plan for their disability, to save income taxes, and pass on their business in tax advantage ways.  The focus is to equip advisors with tools to implement plans that take into consideration a client’s desires while balancing the tax consequences caused by the plan implementation.
