28 Aug Celebrating Leadership, History, and Hoosier Excellence ⚽️

An incredible night at Jerry Yeagley Field as Indiana University leadership gathered at Bill Armstrong Stadium to cheer on the No. 14 ranked Indiana Men’s Soccer team in their thrilling 1-0 victory against in-state rival Butler University!
It was a special privilege to see IU President Pamela Whitten, IU Trustee Brian Eagle, and IU Student Trustee Isaac White in the stands together at the Jerry F. Tardy Center.
For Trustee Eagle, this match represents a profound full-circle moment. Long before founding his own firm or being appointed to the Board of Trustees, he served this exact program as a student manager from 1983 to 1986—working directly within the culture that built IU’s legendary 8-time national championship soccer legacy.
Seeing our university leaders so closely tied to our student-athletes and traditions underscores what makes Indiana University truly elite. Congratulations to the Hoosiers on a dominant performance and an undefeated 3-0-0 start to the season!
