Eagle & Fein, P.C. is excited to welcome our newest attorney, Philip A. Gordon, to the team!
Philip A. Gordon joined Eagle and Fein as an Associate Attorney in November of 2016. Philip focuses his practice on Estate Planning, Medicaid Eligibility, Elder law, and Commercial and Business litigation.
Philip is a graduate of Butler University (B.A. 2004) and the Robert H. McKinney School of Law (J.D. 2012). He is admitted to practice in the State of Indiana and has been admitted to the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern District of Indiana. Philip is a member of the Indianapolis and Indiana State Bar Associations.
Prior to joining Eagle and Fein, Philip practiced as a Deputy Attorney General for the Office of the Indiana Attorney General in Civil Litigation. Philip has represented numerous state agencies and his litigation experience includes practicing in the areas of civil rights, constitutional law, employment law, and administrative law. He has successfully defended numerous state agencies against claims for Federal and State constitutional law violations, has received favorable summary judgment rulings related to excessive force claims brought against the Indiana Department of Correction, has mediated cases to successful resolutions, and has sat first chair at a federal bench trial. Philip has brought enforcement actions on behalf of the State of Indiana including enforcement of environmental and State health issues. Philip has over eleven years of experience working within the federal judiciary as a clerk and courtroom deputy for various judges.
When not representing his clients, Philip enjoys supporting his alma mater, the Butler Bulldogs, is an avid runner, enjoys traveling, and spending time with his wife and two daughters. Philip is actively engaged in his local community in Zionsville, Indiana.
